Our 5 Day Uganda Gorilla and Game tour, is meant for those who are on a rushing program but would like to combine a life time experience of Gorilla trekking with wildlife.This suggests that you will be picked from your Guest house in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your Gorilla trekking activity from there you will connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.

Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali City or International Airport and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Our Early Tour and Travel Limited Driver Guide will be picked from Kigali International Airport or any Hotel in Kigali to start your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This journey is very scenic and will take you through a country of a thousand hills Rwanda to the Pearl of Africa Uganda. You cross over the boarder to Uganda at Katuna or Chanika boarders and make a stop at Kabale or Kisoro town before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for overnight.
Accommodation: Trekkers Tavern Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Drive time: 4-5 hours
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and transfer back to Kigali for your flight or at your hotel
This morning after your breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will drive to the National park offices for a briefing about the dos and the don’ts while on your Gorilla trekking. After that, you will be transferred to the starting point of your Gorilla walk. Please note that Gorilla family allocation depends on your interests, fitness and age though there is no guarantee as these Gorillas keeps moving and changing locations as you walk to them.
Please inform your guide of your interests and he will try to request for the Gorilla family of your choice before you start the trek into the Bwindi forest. Gorilla trekking can be strenuous and a certain level of fitness is required. Gorilla trekking can take from 30 minutes to three quarters of the day so one needs to prepare for both. Your guide will try to provide information about trees, spices of birds and other wildlife in the forest until you reach a given family of Gorillas.
You will be allowed only one hour of photography and observing mountain Gorillas as they go on with their daily day activities and then trek back to the National Park offices to pick your certificates. You will then drive back to Kigali Rwanda through Katuna or Chanika boarders for your overnight in Kigali town or your International departure flight. Please ensure that you book flights that depart late from Kigali International Airport if you intend to fly back after your two days Bwindi Gorilla safari through Kigali.
End of your Tour: Drop off at the Airport for a late night International flight or Hotel in Kigali
